johnson for auditorIt’s official! Wayne Johnson said he is humbled and grateful to be the 2018 Republican nominee for New Mexico State Auditor.

"Thanks to the army of volunteers who collected nearly triple the amount of signatures that were required to get me on the ballot. I delivered those 3,600 signatures to the Secretary of State’s office. And I'm on the ballo.!

"Last December, Governor Susana Martinez appointed me as the New Mexico State Auditor to complete the remainder of Tim Keller’s term.

"This office is an ideal fit for me, as I’ve dedicated my tenure in public service to revealing how tax dollars are being used and ensuring that New Mexico's public entities abide by their policies and the law.

"Will you support me so that I can continue my fight for transparency and accountability in state and local government?

"As a Bernalillo County Commissioner for the past seven-plus years, I worked to make the county more open, accountable, and transparent; to fight job-killing policies and support private investment to create jobs.

"I’ve taken my dedication to openness and transparency to the State Auditor’s office.

"The good news is that I have eleven months in office as the incumbent. And I want to be elected to a full-term as your State Auditor. I want to continue what I’ve been doing for the past two months!"
