Las Cruces, NM- The United States Marshals Service is looking for New Mexico's Most Wanted Fugitive Martin Lopez. Lopez is wanted on a NM probation violation warrant for the original charge of resisting an officer or arrest. Criminal history on Lopez includes multiple convictions of possession of a controlled substance and aggravated assault. Lopez is listed as having violent tendencies and a history of offenses involving weapons, violent crimes against persons, resisting and evading law enforcement.

Lopez has many tattoos, but has a distinctive and dark tattoo mark on his left cheek and a scar on his right hand.

He is considered to be armed and dangerous with violent tendencies and will either flee or engage police.

Please use extreme caution. If you see Lopez or know any information on his whereabouts, DO NOT APPROACH THIS FUGITIVE. Instead, please contact the United States Marshals Service or your local police or Sheriff’s office, obtain a good description and location for Lopez so that you can relay the information to police.
