According to Scott Terry, president of the Silver City-Grant County Chamber of Commerce and director of the Grant County Veterans Memorial Business and Conference Center, said an estimate showed about 5,000 people took part in activities at Gough Park on Tuesday, July 4, 2017.
Almost half of the food vendors sold out of food. Other entities and organizations sold items or handed out information to visitors.
