On Friday evening, July 28, 2017, as part of the CLAY Festival program, a reception was held at the Silver City Museum for Ann McMahon, who has created a series of very large format photos of the "The Disappearing Mining Landscape of Grant County."
She and her helper, Andrew Lindlof, greeted visitors to the museum small exhibit room.
At the same time, Dan Turner copper artist, who has worked with metals most of his life, demonstrated how he, using a small tool and a hammer, puts the designs into the copper plaques and jewelry he makes.
