4 h award 8 21 rsOn August 21, 2017 the State Champion Land Judging Team was recognized by the local Grant County Soil and Water Conservation District for their success at this year's State 4-H Conference. The team attended the monthly meeting discussing what they did during their contests and what they had to know. They expressed what they learned during the contest and answered questions by the board members. The team was awarded $150 and Kolby Taylor was awarded $75 for being high point individual in the contest and Justin Billings was awarded $50 for being 2nd high individual in the land judging contest. Justin Billings was also given $75 for being high point individual in the range management contest as well. The team presented the Grant County Soil and Water Conservation District with a certificate of appreciation on behalf of 4-H.
