NM 159

La Calerita Construction, LLC, (Contractor) has completed construction for NM 159 into Mogollon. Traffic may still encounter possible lane closures as remaining items are finalized. The roadway is now open into Willow Creek, Snow Lake and the Gila National Forrest.

As winter approaches the NMDOT lower gate at mile post 12.3 and at mile post 22.6 may be closed as roadway conditions require. Currently it is best to travel this roadway in a 4 x 4 or high clearance vehicle.
