Best of Show "Meadowlark in the Snow" by Keith Spangle
The opening reception for the Fifth Annual Southwest Birds Show was held at the Bear Mountain Lodge Thursday evening. Organizer Jackie Blurton said that over 50 people attended the opening, enjoying the Flamenco music of Farhad Arasteh, professor of mathematics at WNMU, and browsing the artworks inspired by the artists' love of birds.
The show will run through March 31, from 10 am to 5 pm daily at Bear Mountain Lodge.
