Location: Silver City, New Mexico

The following persons were arrested during a warrant roundup on March 29, 2018. The roundup was conducted from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Thursday, March 29. The number of Silver City Police officers involved in the roundup was six.

1. Rachel Hernandez, 48 years of age, Silver City: Distribution of a Controlled Substance (Marijuana) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

2. Joseph Sepulveda, 41 years of age, Santa Clara: Conspiracy to Commit Trafficking of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine)

3. Arturo Cruz, 39 years of age, Silver City: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Methamphetamine) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

4. Alize Garcia, 18 years of age, Bayard: Possession of a Controlled Substance (Heroin) and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia

5. Megan Ortiz, 28 years of age, Silver City: Receiving or Transferring Stolen Vehicles

6. Jonathan Chavez, 29 years of age, Silver City, was arrested on 6 warrants.

1. Battery on a Household Member
2. Criminal Damage to the Property of a Household Member under $1000
3. Criminal damage to Property under $1000

Chavez was also charged with Concealing Identity, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and Limitations on Backing.

An additional arrest was made over the weekend related to a burglary (2018-0333) which was reported at about 3 p.m. on March 31, 2018, in the 1400 blk of W. 6th Street.

Bryson McNeill, 31 years of age, Silver City, was charged with Burglary, Possession of Burglary Tools, Larceny over $500.00, Criminal Damage to Property. He was arrested on March 31 at about 3:52 p.m.
