The opening reception for the Western New Mexico University Expressive Arts Department annual juried Student Show took place on Thursday, April 5, 2018.
The winners were announced at the reception. They are:
Best of Show: Maurice Comacho for his bronze, "Let It Sink In"
Painting:
1st Place to Joseph Kinney for his painting, "James Hetfield"
2nd Place to Abigail Egge-Ogas for her painting, "Still Life"
Honorable Mention to Sierra Robinson for her painting, "Eggplant Pesto"
Sculpture:
1st Place to Maurice Comacho for his sculpture, "Ico"
2nd Place to Patricia Countryman for her bronze, "Victory of Patricia"
Honorable Mention to Keith Bounds for his sculpture, "Finger Breaker"
Ceramics:
