This is Part 1 of four slideshows of mainly the mercado and food vendors.
The Fiesta Latina Mercado featured many vendors from all over Mexico, with wearables, straw art, jewelry, carved wood, ceramics, and paintings, even on feathers. The friendly vendors were happy to try out their English while some of us practiced our Spanish with smiles on all sides.
Special events included lectures, documentaries and the music of Darren Cordova. A tequila testing was one of the ticketed events.
