The Mud Pie contest is part of the Clay Festival every year. This Sue Been's chocolate, peanut butter and jelly concoction with cream cheese flowers. She won by default as the only pie entered this year.

Saturday, July 21, 2018, had several activities for those exploring clay. Mud Fun drew in the kids and the adults who wanted to play, too.
The Mud Pie contest, which usually brings in lots of chocolate pies, this year, perhaps because of the heat of the day, brought only one. Sue Been created a peanut butter, chocolate and jelly concoction with cream cheese flowers decorating it.
And across the street in the parking lot beside Morningstar, a Clayfest Market was set up with vendors and activities. Adults and children got to test their skills with a pottery wheel.
