Our Paws’ Cause Thrift Store pet pictures with Santa

Our Paws’ Cause Thrift Store hosted a special visitor Thursday, Dec. 6, 2018—Santa! He was there to have pictures taken with peoples’ cherished pets, and perhaps to listen to a Christmas wish or two as well. People could bring their pets in and take a picture of them with Santa for a donation of pet items to go to the High Desert Humane Society. Arley Howard, who was manning the cash register that day, said that there were about 15 dogs and one cat who had their pictures taken with Santa. She said that most people donated money, but one person brought in a 25-pound bag of dog food.
