Roadway Reconstruction

Silver City: The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office (NMDOT) has posted an alert for Wednesday December 26, 2018:

TLC Construction (Contractor) will be continuing roadway reconstruction, installation of curb and gutter, sidewalk and bike lanes. Starting Wednesday December 26, Kimberly Street will be closed for construction, detour will be in place. Closure is expected to last approximately 2 weeks reopening on January 11, if not sooner.

Contractor's hours of operation will be from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday; closures and traffic control shall remain in place 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Construction is scheduled to be completed by spring of 2019.
