New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has appointed two local residents to posts recently:
James Foy, long-time Silver City attorney, was named to fill the Sixth Judicial District position vacated by the recently retired Judge J.C. Robinson.
Mary Hotvedt has been appointed to fill a six-term term on the Western New Mexico University Board of Regents. She fills a position vacated by the completion of the term of Dan Salzwedel.
