July Fourth 2019 at Gough Park featured everything from food vendors, to clothing and jewelry vendors, to information booths, Kiwanis Club of Silver City offering breakfast and lunch, painting activities for kids, fundraisers, and a collection of antique tractors, which also took part in the parade, and were shown with a group of 'hit-or-miss" engines that have run machinery and been know to turn homemade ice cream. Organized by the Silver City-Grant County Chamber of Commerce, the park also had music most of the afternoon. Families could be seen having picnics under the trees and visiting with friends who wandered by.
