The annual Mud Pie Contest, part of the CLAY Festival, took place at the Farmer's Market off Bullard Street. Four pies arrived for the contest. They included No. 1 a Chocolate custard pie with chocolate orange sauce; No. 2, a Brownie topped with ice cream; No. 3, a no-bake pie with items like chai seeds in it; and No. 4 a German chocolate pie.
The chocolate custard pie by Maya Johns took the prize for presentation; the no-bake chocolate pie by Aria Jones took the prize for creativity; and the German chocolate pie by Marlo and Evie Cooper won the prize for taste.
