The Silver City Fire Department was called out on a fire off Broken Arrow this afternoon. According to Jeff Fell, SCFD information officer, the fire involves a small shed. Tyrone and Whiskey Creek Volunteer Fire Departments were also called out to the fire.

Residents are cautioned to be careful with any ignition source. Fuels are dry, and winds continue to dry plants and trees, just like a hair dryer does to one's hair, according to Grant County Wildland Fire Management Officer Gary Benavidez.
