According to Chief Lee Alirez, Saturday, Oct. 26, 2019, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., the Bayard Police Department will host the D.E.A. National Drug Take Back Day supporting the Youth Substance Abuse Prevention Coalition to provide the community a way to properly dispose of prescription, and/or, illegal drugs. BPD will provide residential pick up for those with mobility/transportation issues. If you would like your prescription medications picked up please call BPD at 575/537-3312, on Saturday, Oct. 26, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. “We look forward to assisting you,” Alirez said, “And appreciate your assistance in preventing lost, stolen, or the misuse of prescription medication.”
