WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Jeff Bingaman today will take part in a Senate Finance Committee meeting to consider three free trade agreements pending before the committee. Once voted out of committee, the free trade agreements are expected to be voted on by the full Senate later this week.
 
        On Wednesday, Bingaman will be the guest speaker at the Natural Gas Roundtable breakfast and will talk about energy policy.
 
Also this week, Bingaman will introduce legislation to extend the life of two initiatives that direct millions of dollars in payments to New Mexico counties to support local employment in schools, county maintenance programs, forest management, and other critical county programs.
 
        The Senate this week is expected to take up a bill aimed at creating jobs and boosting the country's economy.
