Dear Valued Chamber Members:

For the past 106 years, Our Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce has been supporting our businesses through tourism, economic development, Prospectors (legislative arm), and relocation opportunities.   I realize that it is confusing to our community and business members regarding the changes that have recently occurred. Our board President, Jim Nennich, and I want to assure you we are here for our Members every day, that we are financially sound, that we receive 800,000 - 1.2 Million visits monthly on our website, and that is GREAT for economic development for our community.

We realize that our members will be happy to hear that we have contracted with Village Profile to create an exceptional 2012 SCGC Centennial Anniversary Edition - COMMUNITY Guide with permission through the NM Centennial office. We will provide a business directory for our business membership, as part of the Centennial Guide and keepsake.   We continue to support our community as our chamber is the Destination Marketing Organization in our county by virtue of being the CHAMBER and by our domain name: silvercity.org.

In 2012 Our Chamber's Community Guide will be a special 2012 Centennial Anniversary Edition and Keepsake. Your advertisement presence and our community businesses get the added value of being a viewable publication on our website (via downloadable e-book); and on Village Profile's Website, along with smartphone apps, to name a few benefits. The E-Book will be available for worldwide visitors on our website; with thousands of printed copies for relocation packages and future visitors also available. Publications will be mailed, and be available for any business member or visitor at the Silver City Grant County Chamber and Visitor Center in Arenas Valley.

Your participation in Ad Placement is reimbursable under lodger tax rules, since this publication will be available worldwide via the web for relocation packages and for future visitors' mail-out requests.

We will be rolling out a photo contest for selection of the Centennial COVER for our special edition 2012 guide. All photos and stories for our centennial guide as related to your business or families are most welcomed. Call the Chamber at 575 538 3785 for more information.
