For the weekend beginning Friday August 25, 2017 at 4:00 pm and ending Monday August 28, 2017 at 8:00 am Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 57 calls for service and had 158 self-initiated activity, and made 14 arrests. Including 1 for DWI.

Included in the above calls for service are 2 Domestic Disturbance, 2 Loud Music, 4 Shoplifting, 2 Abandoned 911, 7 Welfare Check, 1 Civil Stand By, 1 Information Complaint, 1 Reckless Driver, 3 Suspicious Person, 4 Citizen Assist, 1 Child Exchange, 1 Vehicle Burglary, 1 Noise Complaint, 1 Vehicle Accident Property Damage, 1 Vehicle Accident No Injuries.
