Come on out to the Mimbres Culture Heritage Site Saturday, Sept. 2. Bill Hudson will lead a walking tour at 1 PM around the site which includes the Old Mattocks Site, the 1882 Dr. Granville Wood Office and the Gooch House where the museum is located. Open at 11 AM, the old wrap around porch is a wonderful place for a picnic lunch while watching the hummingbirds.

Located just one block off highway 35, between mile marker 3 and 4, at 12 Sage Drive, you will find this protected historic site.

Walking is easy – bring a hat and wear comfortable shoes, The gift shop is open from 11-3 PM. A small donation of $3 per person or $10 per immediate family is welcomed at the 501(c)3, volunteer operated site. For more information, phone 575.536.3093
