Washington, DC (December 13, 2011) Today Congressman Steve Pearce issued the following statement in response to the New Mexico Bureau of Land Management (BLM) naming Jesse Juen as Director:

"I extend congratulations to Mr. Juen on his new position and look forward to working with him in the future," said Pearce. "I wish him success in leading the BLM and hope to develop an even stronger working relationship with Juen and the BLM."

Jesse Juen, originally from El Paso, Texas, has served as the Associate State Director of New Mexico BLM since 2003. BLM announced Juen's new position on Monday.
