For the Labor Day holiday weekend beginning Friday September 1, 2017 at 4:00 pm and ending Tuesday September 5, 2017 at 8:00 am Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 85 calls for service and had 168 self-initiated activity, and made 14 arrests. Including 1 for DWI.

Included in the above calls for service are 1 Burglary, 4 Domestic Disturbance, 1 Larceny, 1 Criminal Damage to Property, 1 Stolen Motor Vehicle, 1 Loud Music, 1 Utility Complaint, 9 Welfare Checks, 4 Reckless Driver, 9 Citizen Assist, 2 Child Exchange, 1 Vehicle Burglary, 2 Child Exchange, 1 Vehicle Accident No Injuries
