Quaker meeting place, the historic Church of Harmony, 609 Arizona Street, Silver CityWorld Quaker Day will be held throughout the globe of Sunday, October 1, 2017. This is sponsored by Friends World Committee for Consultation, a Quaker organization bringing together all the different types of worship within the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).

Gila Friends meet at 10:00 a.m. at 609 Arizona Street (the Church of Harmony) in Silver City. We are an unprogrammed open meeting; we sit in silence in expectant waiting for the Spirit. On October 1, we will have a short "QuakerSpeak" video, followed by worship. We will then have a time for worship sharing based on the theme "Gathering in Worship Around the Globe."
