Coats for Kits
The Silver City Police Department is starting the drive for Coats for Kids. This year we would like to finish the drive by November 30, 2017, so we can get the coats distributed during the first week in December. The community has been very generous in the past in providing coats for our area kids. The coats will be distributed to the local area schools for children in need.

Also, we will be accepting gloves/mittens and beanies for the children.

The items can be dropped off at the Silver City Police Department,

Holiday Food Baskets
As in past years, we will be preparing food baskets for those in need again this year. We are hoping to do at least 5 complete baskets for both Thanksgiving. Please help out by dropping off any can goods or items at the Silver City Police Department. Deadline for Thanksgiving will be November 20, 2017.
