Paulo Veltri to Talk About Native American Students

Nov. 19 at 10 am, 3845 North Swan Street - "Water Is Life" Native American Student Organization (NASO) Cultural Center Director Paulo Veltri, an Apache tribal member and WNMU Native American recruiter, will speak about developing WNMU's American Indian Center and bringing academic development to students, while at the same time promoting the ideals, traditions and cultures of Native Americans throughout the United States. NASO will also share traditional ceremonial aspects of Indian Country. Although this is not a Family Program Sunday, there will be childcare available for parents who would like to attend. There will be coffee and conversation after the service, and visitors are welcome.
