Come take a walk through history at the Mimbres Culture Heritage Center on Saturday, February 3. The easy walk around the Mimbreno pre-historic cultural area begins at 1 PM from the museum. Included in the tour are a visit to the Granville N. Wood's doctor office and the Gooch House, which is now the museum. Historian and guide Bill Hudson will tell many a wonderful story and share facts about life spanning hundreds of years at the sight.

The museum gift shop has a selection of local artists represented and a good book store, also. Bring a lunch and make a day of picnicing on the large shaded porch. Visit with Smoky the cat. A $3 per person donation will be gratefully accepted.

The Mimbres Culture Heritage Site is located on Hwy 35 at mile marker 3.7 on Sage Drive, just a block off the Trail of the Mountain Spirits National Byway.
