The Nonprofit Resource Group (NRG) will host a brown bag training on Thursday, February 22, 2018, from noon to 1 p.m. at College Street Plaza Suite 5, located at 301 W. College Ave. Facilitator Susan Wilger will discuss how policies guide nonprofit staff and board members in appropriate action, ethical decision making, legal compliance and conflict resolution. According to Wilger, policies and procedures help to diminish liability, potentially harmful situations, improper behaviors and ineffective decision making. Come learn which policies and procedures are essential for any nonprofit to have in place. The training is offered at no cost, but participants must RSVP due to limited seating.
