Mimbres, NM – The Gila National Forest, Wilderness Ranger District wishes to remind the public that bridge work continues on Forest Road 150.

The project was to replace two aging bridge structures on Forest Road 150; one at Indian Creek, the second at a small tributary to Black Canyon; and the third bridge, a rehabilitation project, is the main bridge at Black Canyon.

There are still 14' wide detours around the bridges and signs are on the road to alert drivers. The public is urged to exercise caution on the road and comply with traffic controls. Delays should be expected. The construction work should be completed by the end of March.
