For the weekend beginning Friday April 27, 2018 at 4:00 pm and ending Monday April 30, 2018 at 8:00 am Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 68 calls for service and had 141 self-initiated activity, and made 17 arrests. No arrests were made for DWI.

Included in the above calls for service are 3 Alarm, 1 Domestic Disturbance, 1 Stolen Motor Vehicle, 1 Traffic Complaint, 1 Utility Complaint, 1 Battery, 5 Disturbance, 4 Shoplifting, 2 Abandoned 911, 3 Harassment, 5 Welfare Check, 3 Reckless Driver, 1 Motorist Assist, 1 Injuring – Tampering, 7 Unwanted Subjects, 2 Suspicious Person, 1 Civil Matter, 3 Citizen Assist, 1 Text Harassment.
