Looking for something special to do on Mother's Day, Sunday May 13? How about a ride to the Mimbres Culture Heritage Site? Beginning at 10 AM, the buildings will be open. The museum with gift shop will be open from 10 - 3. You and your family can enjoy a site tour at 11 AM and/or 1 PM. Archaeologist Patricia Gilman who spent a great part of her career studying the ancient Mimbres Culture and was in charge of a large scientific dig at the Mattock's ruin, will be at the site to give a tour, and talk about the significance of the site. She will be available to autograph her book, Mimbres Life and Society: The Mattocks Site of Southwestern New Mexico 1st Edition.

At noon there will be storytelling under the large porch. There will be refreshments and snacks, old fashioned games for children, and mothers will receive a flower. Sit and relax while watching the hummingbirds and their antics.
