"With election season in full swing, it is vital to understand each candidate's vision of the future." Says Frances Vasquez, Chair of the Grant County Democratic Party. "That is why we have assembled a distinguished group of campaigners to discuss and debate the direction they think New Mexico should be headed, and why they are best qualified to take us there."

The candidates include: Stephanie Garcia Richard (who is seeking the office of Land Commissioner), Karen Whitlock (candidate for State Representative District 38), two candidates for State Auditor- Bill McCamley and Brian Colon, plus Billy Garret and Howie Morales (who are running for Lt. Governor).

Vasquez wishes to extend an invitation to everyone. "Please join us at 6PM, May 24th at the WNMU Miller Library to meet these candidates and see if their hopes for a more vital New Mexico correspond with yours. You can even enjoy refreshments and chat with the candidates following the discussion."

This Forum is presented by Miller Library, M.E.Ch.A, Young Democrats and the Grant County Democratic Party.
