Photo: courtesy of Ann Taylor.The Grant County Art Guild extends an invitation to Meet the Featured Artists for this holiday weekend at the historic Hearst Church building in Pinos Altos. Paula Kopenec is featured Friday and Saturday (May 25-26), Barbara Smith on Sunday (May 27), and Ann Taylor on Monday, Memorial Day (May 28).

Ann Taylor loves painting with acrylics, oils, and watercolors and works in crafts as well. Ann is a retired teacher and has lived in Silver City for 18 years. A photo of Ann and an example of her lovely artwork accompany this article. Barbara has won past awards in Pastels.

Paula is a creative jewelry designer. Many members still have work on display from the recent Members' Opening Show. Come peruse the variety of work in Fine Art, Photography and Crafts.

The historic church is the summer home/gallery of the Guild's artworks in Pinos Altos, New Mexico, just north of Silver City via NM 15 N/Pinos Altos Rd. The Gallery is open Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays from 10-4, from May to mid October, plus Monday holidays.
