For the week, beginning Monday June 11, 2018 at 08:00 a.m. and ending Monday June 18, 2018 at 8:00 a.m., Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 267 calls for service and had 468 self-initiated activity, and made 23 arrest. Of those arrests, 1 was for DWI, 3 for narcotics paraphernalia, and 2 for possession of narcotics.

Included in the above calls for service are 16 alarms, 1 burglary, 4 fights, 11 domestic disturbances, 1 shooting, 3 larceny, 4 intoxicated persons, 2 criminal damage, 1 criminal trespassing, 7 traffic complaints, 4 narcotics violations, 17 suspicious vehicles, 3 weapons fired, 3 fraud/embezzlement, 4 disturbances, 1 littering, 4 shoplifting, 1 DV order violation, 3 abandoned 911, 8 harassment, 39 welfare checks, 4 civil standby, 6 information complaints, 1 breaking and entering, 1 liquor law violation, 6 reckless drivers, 3 abandoned vehicles, 2 injuring/tampering of motor vehicles, 7 unwanted subjects, 1 fireworks, 11 suspicious persons, 1 loud party, 1 falsely obtaining services, 1 smoke complaint, 6 civil matters, 5 criminal trespass warnings, 6 suspicious activity, 2 child exchanges, 1 text harassment, 2 vehicle burglaries, 1 noise complaint, 2 hit and run accidents, 6 crashes no injuries, 1 crash with injuries, 1 crash private property.
