For the week, beginning Monday July 2, 2018 at 08:00 a.m. and ending Monday July 9, 2018 at 8:00 a.m., Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 280 calls for service, had 515 self-initiated activity, and made 27 arrests. Of those arrests, 1 was for DWI, and 2 for possession of narcotics.

Included in the above calls for service are 11 alarms, 1 burglary, 2 fights, 9 accidents w/property damage, 1 accident w/injuries, 2 larcenies, 1 intoxicated person, 1 intoxicated driver, 2 criminal damage to property, 3 criminal trespass, 1 loud music, 11 traffic complaints, 1 unattended death, 1 missing person, 5 utility complaints, 1 assault, 1 narcotics violation, 13 suspicious vehicles, 1 arson, 2 weapons fired, 2 fraud/embezzlement, 7 disturbances, 4 shoplifting, 1 DV order violation, 4 abandoned 911, 8 harassment, 24 welfare checks, 28 animal complaints, 6 civil standby, 7 informational complaints, 3 breaking and entering, 4 reckless driver, 6 motorist/citizen assists, 1 abandoned vehicle, 1 injuring/tampering w/ a motor vehicle, 11 unwanted subjects, 17 fireworks, 7 suspicious persons, 7 code enforcement, 3 civil matters, 35 request public service, 2 open doors, 6 criminal trespass warnings, 1 found property, 6 suspicious activity, 15 citizen assists, 4 child exchanges, 1 recovered stolen vehicle, 5 private property accidents, 1 noise complaint, 1 kidnapping, 1 suicide threat, 2 hit and run accidents, 3 vehicle accidents no injuries.
