Silver City, NM — Final events at the close of the Clay Festival week on Sunday, July 22 include The Clay Rodeo at the Hub Patio from 11am- 2pm. Attendees can test their clay skills in a fun, fast moving competition on potter's wheels. Categories include: standards such as "Tallest Cylinder" and "Widest Bowl," as well as more challenging categories such as "Blindfolded Tag Team" and "Throw a Pot Without Hands." All are welcome to participate. Prizes will be awarded to those who collect the most points.

Those who wish can also register to attend and enjoy a delicious menu in a stunning setting filed with artwork at Bear Mountain Lodge's Cafe Oso Azul for a Clay Festival closing brunch from 11am-2pm . Included menu items are inspired by clay themes, such as celadon glazes and wood fire kilns.
