Silver City, NM, September 10, 2018—For Immediate Release. The Gila National Forest is continuing to engage people who have an interest in the Forest Plan Revision Process. The purpose of the community meetings is to keep stakeholders informed, create an understanding of the preliminary range of Forest Plan alternatives, and provide an opportunity for feedback and additional suggestions.
The Forest is hosting five (5) community meetings. These meetings are not open house style so the meeting will begin at the stated start time. No need to RSVP.
