For the week beginning Monday, September 17th, 2018 at 08:00 a.m. and ending Monday September 24th, 2018 at 8:00 a.m., Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 214 calls for service, had 374 self-initiated activity, and made 21 arrests. Of those arrests, 1 was for possession of drug paraphernalia, and 1 for DWI.   

Included in the above calls for service are 2 Child Abuse, 2 Abandoned Vehicle, 2 Injuring – Tampering, 7 Unwanted Subjects, 6 Suspicious Person, 1 Loud Party, 1 Code Enforcement, 2 Civil Matter, 1 Criminal Trespass, 1 Found Property, 5 Suspicious Activity, 15 Citizen Assist, 3 Child Exchange, 1 Text Harassment, 1 Lost Property, 1 Noise Complaint, 1 Suicide Threat, 1 Panhandler, 1 Private Property Accident, 1 Hit & Run Accident, 9 Vehicle Accident No Injuries.
