The annual Blessing of the Animals, sponsored by the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd, will take place in Gough Park on Saturday, October 6 between 10 AM and 2 PM (approximately). This is to celebrate the feast day of St. Francis of Assisi and all animals or pets are welcome. The blessings themselves, will be performed by various clergy from the Grant County Interfaith Alliance. So far, Fr. Paul Moore of Good Shepherd Episcopal Church and Fr. Oliver Obele of St. Vincent’s Catholic Church will be present.
