For the week beginning Monday, October 1, 2018 at 08:00 a.m. and ending Monday, October 8, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 238 calls for service and had 317 self initiated activity. 18 total arrests were made, of those, 1 was for possession of a controlled substance, and one for possession of paraphernalia.

Included in the above calls for service are 11 alarms, 1 burglary, 2 fights, 15 domestic disturbances, 1 accident w/property damage, 5 larceny, 1 criminal damage to property, 1 stolen motor vehicle, 7 agency assists, 2 loud music, 8 traffic complaints, 1 indecent exposure, 1 suicide, 3 utility complaints, 1 assault, 2 narcotics violations, 15 suspicious vehicles, 2 weapons fired, 1 fraud/embezzlement, 3 disturbances, 1 littering, 5 shoplifting, 2 game and fish, 4 parking violations, 1 abandoned 911, 12 harassment, 24 welfare checks, 16 animal complaints, 2 civil stand by, 3 information complaints, 1 liquor law violation, 5 reckless drivers, 9 motorist/citizen assists, 2 abandoned vehicles, 8 unwanted subjects, 1 fireworks, 6 suspicious persons, 2 loud parties, 7 code enforcement, 5 civil matters, 23 requests for public service, 5 criminal trespass warnings, 1 found property, 5 suspicious activity, 12 citizen assists, 5 child exchanges, 2 panhandlers, 4 private property accidents, 3 noise complaints, 1 counterfeit money, 3 hit and run accidents, 1 vehicle accident/ no injuries.
