For the week beginning Monday, October 15, 2018 at 08:00 a.m. and ending Monday, October 22, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 213 calls for service and had 333 self -initiated activity. 14 total arrests were made, of those, 1 was for possession of a controlled substance, 2 for possession of paraphernalia, and 3 for DWI.     

Included in the above calls for service are 16 alarms, 1 burglary, 2 fight calls, 5 domestic disturbance, 3 larceny, 1 intoxicated person, 2 criminal damage to property, 5 agency assist, 1 loud music, 3 traffic complaints, 1 unattended death, 1 battery, 1 narcotic violation, 6 suspicious vehicle, 2 fraud/embezzlement, 1 disturbance, 7 shoplifting, 2 abandoned 911, 5 harassment, 12 welfare check, 15 animal , 4 reckless driver, 1 injuring – tampering, 8 unwanted subject, 5 suspicious person, 1 loud party, 1 code enforcement, 6 suspicious activity, 18 citizen assist, 1 panhandler, 1 counterfeit money, 1 suicide threat, 2 private property accident, 5 hit & run accident, 2 vehicle accident no injuries, 1 vehicle accident with injuries.
