For the week beginning Monday, October 22, 2018 at 08:00 a.m. and ending Monday October 29, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. Officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 250 calls for service, had 422 self-initiated activity, and made 22 arrest. Of those arrests, 1 was for possession of controlled substance, 1 for DWI, 1 aggravated battery, and 1 battery against a household member.   

Included in the above calls for service are 13 alarms, 0 burglaries, 4 fights, 12 domestic disturbances, 2 accidents w/property damage, 1 larcenies, 1 criminal damage to property, 1 criminal trespass, 2 agency assist, 3 loud music, 1 traffic complaints, 1 assaults, 1 battery, 2 narcotics violation, 6 suspicious vehicles, 1 weapons fired, 1 fraud/embezzlement, 3 disturbances, 8 shoplifting, 1 game and fish, 1 DV Order violation, 3 parking violations, 1 abandoned 911 calls, 11 harassment, 29 welfare checks, 16 animal complaints, 1 civil standby, 8 information complaint, 4 reckless driver, 2 motorist/citizen assists, 1 abandoned vehicle, 5 unwanted subjects, 8 suspicious persons, 0 identity theft, 0 smoke, 1 civil matter, 26 requests for public service, 10 public assist, 4 criminal trespass warnings, 7 suspicious activity, 10 citizen assists, 1 child exchanges, 0 text harassment, 1 lost property, 2 private property crashes, 2 noise complaint, 2 hit and run accidents, 6 vehicle accident no injury, 0 vehicle accident with injury.
