Take a drive out the the Mimbres Valley this Saturday, Nov. 3 to see the beautiful fall colors along the river and to take a tour at the Mimbres Culture Heritage Site. Bill Hudson will lead this tour of the pre-historic Mattocks Site and the museum buildings beginning at 1 p.m. Learn about the unique archaeology of the area and hear stories about some of the colorful residents living on the property throughout history. Bring a lunch and sit under the big porch.   

The Mimbres Culture Heritage Site is located at 12 Sage Drive off highway 35 between mile marker 3 and 4. Sponsored by the Imogen F. Wilson Education Foundation, a 501(c)3, the site has a lot of history to enjoy. Donations are gratefully accepted.
