For the week beginning Monday, November 5, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. and ending Tuesday November 13, 2018 at 8:00 a.m., officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 207 calls for service, had 337 self-initiated activity, and made 20 arrest. Of those arrests, 1 was for possession of controlled substance, and one was for Possession of drug paraphernalia.   

Included in the above calls for service are 10 alarms, 0 burglaries, 1 fights, 7 domestic disturbances, 2 accidents w/property damage, 4 larcenies, 0 criminal damage to property, 4 criminal trespass, 1 agency assist, 0 loud music, 1 traffic complaints, 0 assaults, 0 battery, 2 narcotics violation, 1 suspicious vehicles, 1 weapons fired, 0 fraud/embezzlement, 2 disturbances, 4 shoplifting, 2 game and fish, 1 DV Order violation, 3 parking violations, 0 abandoned 911 calls, 17 harassment, 21 welfare checks, 18 animal complaints, 0 civil standby, 7 information complaint, 5 reckless driver, 3 motorist/citizen assists, 6 abandoned vehicle, 2 unwanted subjects, 7 suspicious persons, 0 identity theft, 1 smoke, 1 civil matter, 21 requests for public service, 0 public assist, 3 criminal trespass warnings, 3 suspicious activity, 23 citizen assists, 1 child exchanges, 0 text harassment, 0 lost property, 7 private property crashes, 1 noise complaint, 3 hit and run accidents, 7 vehicle accident no injury, 1 vehicle accident with injury.
