November 25, at 6:30 p.m., 3845 North Swan Street - A special evening communion: “A Transylvanian Unitarian Thanksgiving Communion”

Rev. Lehel Molnar,  a visiting Transylvanian Unitarian minister, will lead a traditional service open to all.

A brief introduction to the meaning of the Transylvania Communion and Thanksgiving traditions will begin the evening. The service will follow. Rev. Molnar will give a reading and homily, then offer the wine and bread of communion.

Francis David founded Unitarianism in Transylvania on principles of using mind and heart in understanding the Bible, centering on the teachings and compassion of a fully-human Jesus. Those attending are encouraged to reverently observe or participate.

A good will offering will be taken to benefit the Balazs Scholar Program. Light refreshment will be served following the service.
