The Silver City/Southwest New Mexico Branch of AAUW invites members, visitors and potential members to attend a Holiday Party meeting on Sunday December 9, 2018 from 2:00 p.m. to 4:30 pm at the Conservatory of Dance Studio, 2020 Cottage San Rd., Silver City to celebrate the Holidays and 80 years in Silver City. 

Entertainment will be provided by students of the Dance Studio. Light refreshments will be served. Visitors are encouraged to participate and join in on the fun and learn more about us.

Our major event for over 25 years has been our Expanding Your Horizons conference which is a one-day conference on the WNMU Campus where 5th to 8th grade girls from the 4 south west counties of New Mexico come to experience hands on workshops by role model women in STEM (Science, technology engineering and Mathematics) careers.

In addition, money will be raised for our annual Barbara Brown scholarship at WNMU for a woman returning to school.
