Silver City MainStreet is hosting a Holiday Window Contest with merchants in downtown Silver City. Fourteen merchants have done special window displays following the theme “A Storybook Christmas” and are competing for a community choice award.

“This is a great addition to the downtown holiday decorations, states Patrick Hoskins, Board President of Silver City MainStreet. We have been impressed by the work and effort put into these window displays. They follow the theme well, and are a real treat to see! We encourage families to come and stroll around downtown Silver City and enjoy all of the holiday lights and windows.

The participating merchants are competing for a community choice award and we need the community to come out and vote. Vote by visiting the Silver City Facebook page and clicking the link to vote for your favorite window. You can also go to the merchants and using the QR code on the flyer, vote for your favorite. We truly have great decorations this year and we invite everyone in Grant County to come and enjoy the decorations.”
