For the week beginning Monday, December 10, 2018 at 8:00 a.m. and ending Monday December 17, 2018 at 8:00 a.m., officers of the Silver City Police Department responded to 265 calls for service, had 356 self-initiated activity, and made 22 arrests. Of those arrests, 1 DWI, 1 Possession of Drug Paraphernalia and 3 Possession of Controlled Substance.

Included in the above calls for service are 24 alarms, 2 burglary, 5 fight, 11 domestic disturbance, 3 larceny, 1 criminal damage to property, 1 assault, 1 battery, 2 weapons fired, 8 shoplifting, 21 welfare check, 4 reckless driver, 2 motorist assist, 4 custodial interference, 3 injuring – tampering with a motor vehicle, 7 unwanted subjects, 4 suspicious persons, 1 civil matter, 2 criminal trespass, 11 citizen assist, 1 vehicle burglary, 3 private property accident, 2 hit & run accident, 2 vehicle accident no injuries, 1 vehicle accident with injuries.
