Roland Shook and Jackie Blurton collaborated on a Silver City Daily Press column, “From Our Place to Yours” for many years. He stopped writing the articles when he retired from WNMU in 2006. Jackie did the illustrations for the column. She has taken 56 of these articles and put them into a little book. A book signing will take place at the new Grant County Art Guild Gallery in the Hester House on Bullard on Friday, Dec. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m. Refreshments will be served.
